Words Beats & Life's Breakfast of Champions
Join Words Beats & Life for our inaugural Breakfast of Champions - taking place at Busboys and Poets. This event will be co-hosted by Mark Lawrence, Dr. Jared Ball, Ester Coleman, Esq., Candace Mickens, Mr. Kevin R. Harris, and Ms. Blythe K. Robinson and Ms. Janice Ferebee, MSW. With 22% of our budget coming directly from public support and earned income, we are asking YOU to be a champion and support the work we do with DC youth and families through hip-hop.
With
a minimum donation of $20, you get to enjoy breakfast amongst other WBL
champion supporters, staff, board members and former students at one of
the hottest spots in the U Street Corridor. Additionally, we will be
honoring three of our champions: Dwayne "Storm da Unpredictable" Henry,
Rashid Darden, and Fair Chance. Come out and celebrate how hip-hop is
transforming individual lives and whole communities on Friday, Dec.
18th at 8:30am-9:30am!
Pre-register on or before December 16th, at:

ABOUT WBL:
